Please advise. Repeatedly producing high quality fired pottery question. Possible?
I can't afford a kiln and its electricity/gas costs nor do I have room for it, plus I don't have a garden either that's suitable for building a brick-based kiln, nor could I get fuel for it. I can't afford a wheel, I don't have the free space to use one. I don't have storage/drying room or even any shelving or the space for any.
I do have the capacity to buy clay-working tools (wood/rubber ribs, trimming tools etc) and clay (in small quantities).
How can I produce, store and fire clay pots, vases, mugs, bowls, dishes, plates etc on a low budget without overly compromising build, finish and firing quality?
I ask because going to evening classes to produce clay works would be pretty slow and expensive esp' as time would be against me.
If you know how I could get repeatable and consistently high quality results on a (temporary, I hope) low budget, please advise - thank you. :)
Just so you know, I live in the UK and could always pay for better equipment if and when/if I can make enough finished items.

The local art museum where I live (not in the UK) also offers classes, among them pottery at different levels of skill. So they have a kiln to fire the works of students.
However, most of the time the kiln sits unused, so they got the good idea of offering it to the public for a low fee. For days (weeks?) ahead of time, local potters could bring in works ready to be fired, pay a small fee, sign waivers about damage or the work breaking, then after the firing, pick it up.
So what you probably need to do is find local kilns and offer a payment to put your work in to be fired when the kiln is available.
