Aquamarine jewel stones?
If aquamarine is considered to be a semi-precious stone, why is it so expensive? I think it's pretty but looks too expensive.

I really do not know and am not a certified gemologist. My guess is that consumers pay the price. If not, the aquamarine cost would decrease.
