If you meant
● "Can ear cropping be a risk?"
it certainly CAN!
👹In civilised nations, the risk is that you will be severely punished for performing an illegal surgery.
🐕🦺In the other nations the risk is mainly to the poor pooch.
The pooch you show a photo of will have a VERY annoying problem when out in the rain, until his bandages are removed - the loss of his hanging ear flaps means that rain drops can and WILL fall inside the open ear canals.

It is just damned right cruel & abusive. Procedure is usually only for the owners vanity. Cropping ears is not a necessary procedure.

Looking at the photo of that poor dog, I can hardly bring myself to answer other than to say WHO could do that to a dog - to say nothing of what's round the poor animal's neck!!

Ear cropping is a barbaric and outdated thing to do to a dog and is banned now in many countries.
A dog owner who does this to a dog cannot truthfully say that they love their dog for what it is. Anyone who does it whether to a puppy or an adult dog for purely cosmetic reasons should have their own ears cropped and see how they like it. 👿
PS: Yes, it can carry a risk of acute infection, as can all open wounds.
