Is this a part for my jet wash?? ?

When I turn it on it just consistently hums heavily

    That looks like the debris screen for the detergent pickup hose.

    I looked at the wash for my jet, it doesn't look anything like that.  That looks like the cap to a magic marker.   If yours hums, it's because it doesn't know the words.
