A loved one had a grade 2 astrocytoma and had "almost" all of it surgically removed. What happens now? Can it come back? Will he be okay?

Not always, as the cancer can still just return even after it has been removed.

Did this person follow up with radiation? This is the sort of question to ask at follow up appointments.

Time will tell. Cancer survivors are prone to getting it again. Reserch preventative measures like diet, sunscreen, hemp remedies. There are many foods associated to increasing/reducing risk of cancer because of carcinogen content.
