Does green tea have a sedative effect? If so, how long does is last? Make a guess pls?

    A guess?  Sure. I guess it would depend upon the amount of tea consumed measured with your body mass.  So I'll just go with a guess that  for an average weight person consuming one cup of green tea with no sugar or other stimulant added, the tranquil feeling would last for 22 minutes or until they were aggravated by being asked a stupid question.

    Green tea (unless specifically decaffeinated) contains caffeine. I would think for most people, it would have the opposite of a sedative effect.
