Can I sue AT&T?

About a week ago someone accessed my AT&T account and changed my phone number to another carrier. From there, they changed my emails password using my phone number and accessed my bitcoin account which had over $8,000 on it. They withdrew the money and I was left with nothing on the account. I spoke to AT&T on how they accessed my account when I was the only one who knew the pin and they didn’t even ask for any identification from the person who put the phone number on another carrier. Would they be liable for the damage caused to me through the emails? Is this enough grounds to sue AT&T?

You can try. You will lose of course. It depends on how much money you want to waste.
