What was the last book you read that you savored ?

Ohhh.....any of the Game of Thrones books, any of the Laurie King "Mary Russell" books, and any of the Jim Butcher "Harry Dresden" books.  

Heritage of Britain loved the Historic facts 

John Crowley's brilliant book, "Little Big".

The Night Fire - Michael Connelly

Hole in My Life, Jack Gantos.

I just finished The City We Became by N.K. Jemisen.  Can't wait for the next book in the series to see how things play out.

Gathering of Waters by Bernice L. McFadden. It was beautiful, unusual, original and I definitely could have read more of it.

Hm. Good question there. I'll go with City on Fire.

The last book I can recall deliberately slowing down so as to eek it out was "the Crimson Petal and the White."

It was a book I wrote myself.
