Why is my top lip on the sides getting creases after lip filler? ?
I got lip filler for the very first time just over 24 hours ago and I have a crease on either side of my lip in the corners that look very unnatural. People keep saying it’s due to swelling, however, I’ve seen a lot of people‘s lips around the same time after as mine and no one seems to have these weird creases on the side. I’m worried that once the swelling does go down completely I’m still gonna have these lines.

When you get lip filler, it changes the shapes of your lips. This also changes how you move your lips and what muscles you use. Now your mouth is moving differently because of the filler, and how it is moving is causing these wrinkles. This is how all wrinkles form, when the skin bends too much in that one area you get a wrinkle. Its why you have the lines on your fingers, its where the skin bends, that's a wrinkle.
There isn't much you can do about this, other than have the plastic surgeon not put filler that close to the edge of your mouth again. You can see that there are larger lumps on the top lip by the corner of your mouth, and that is what is causing these specific lines.

It takes a minimum of 48 hours for the swelling to subside. I can see the redness around the injection sites so obviously there's still a lot of puffiness and swelling at the injection site and in the lips. Even if it appears that others have no swelling, they do. Wait another couple days and the swelling should subside. Also keep an eye on the injection sites they look a little inflamed. Follow the doctor's aftercare instruction to minimize the risk of getting an infection at the needle holes. If your lips continue to swell or the needle marks get redder go back to the doctor who did the injections. If you did not go to a doctor's clinic for your injections then go to a doctor immediately. All cosmetic procedures must be done under the supervision of a real dermatologist or plastic surgeon in sterile medical surroundings to prevent infections. Injections should not be done in spas or salons.
