Ya bro just strech and you'll be fine, the body is not as fragile as people make it out to be.

No.
Soreness within reason for 2 or 3 days is normal; you might have some lingering minor discomfort afterwards for another couple of days. By within reason, I mean that the soreness does not interfere or prevent normal movement of the affected muscles. If you are so sore that it inhibits you from going about your everyday tasks, then you overtrained and , perhaps, did some damage to the muscles.
Meanwhile, you need to do the following:
1) Drink 6 to 8 glass of water a day - NOT all at once.
2) Eat well balanced meals that includes fruits, vegetables, complex carbs, and meats.
3) Get your 8 hours of sleep. Sleep is when your body does the majority of the repairs. You skimp on sleep, your body is not going to repair the damages efficiently.
4) Ice down the sore muscles and then warm it up afterwards with something like a warm moist towel. Repeat this cycle of ice and heat 3 or more times. You can pop a moist towel in the microwave for about 15 to 30. Make sure it does not get too hot that is burns your skin.
5) Massage the muscles that are sore and do VERY light stretches that does NOT cause pain. You can use a heat rub like Ben Gay, Icy Hot, etc. and give the muscle a good massage.
If you still have not completely recovered by the 2nd week, you need to see a doctor because something is wrong. You also should not train until you have recovered.

It is normal to be sore after a workout, but after a week, it seems more like you've injured yourself. Have you gone from a completely sedentary lifestyle to a full-fledged workout regimen without ramping up? Is your pain more muscular, or in the joints? Either way, please seek medical attention to make sure, over the opinions of people on the internet.
