Cooking wild lizard tips?

I caught a wild lizard and i put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds to kill then i washed with dawn soap and stored in freezer. How should I cook it?

Update:

Microwave killed the lizard but did it also kill bacteria and potential parasites? i washed it off with dawn soap and stored it in my freezer (only sealed bags and food in it) I think I am going to air fry with garlic and spices

Even though your drivel is complete bu||$h|t the microwave would have ruined the lizard because its internal organs aren't edible but the microwave boiled the waste within contaminating any possible "good" meat.

Even as a fantasy it's implausible.

Feed wild lizards as many crickets and mealworms as they will eat, two to three times each week. Offer dark greens such as kale, collard and mustard greens for omnivorous species. Change the water dish with dechlorinated freshwater each day and remove any feces from the enclosure as soon as you notice them.

Only children ask these kinds of questions.

Microwaving a live animal to kill it is pretty inhumane, and not the best thing to do prior to any food preparation.  Ideally, you'd have wanted to gut it in a bacteriologically clean environment and then sterilized your knives and disinfected the preparation area.

I'd also suggest that air frying is not the best ways to cook it, as this will likely not raise the internal temperature enough to ensure that it is cooked through and that all microbes are killed.

I'm in the camp of thinking you are putting yourself in some danger here!

*Update:  15 seconds in the microwave will not kill all the bacteria in food, and if you've not already gutted it, you are starting to cook the contents of it's digestive and waste tracts too, meaning these will be far harder to clean properly!

Your ideas sound OK by me. I've never eaten reptile, but know that lizards, snakes and crocodilians are eaten in many parts of the world. It is certainly no risk of causing Covid. Make sure you wash well to remove all traces of the dawn soap, or it will taste dreadful.

Not at all. Didn't we learn anything from the Corona virus?
