My "contacts" have all suddenly disappeared!?
I have been using Classic** Mail on Chrome and my W7 desktop. Suddenly all my "contacts" have disappeared, I cannot edit and save a previously existing one, and I cannot create a new contact - the "no entry" sign appears over the save button. "Retrieving contacts" seems to be impossible. Is this just me or has it hit others simultaneously? [** I have not upgraded to the latest version of Mail which otherwise might have provided an explanation] Appreciate if someone can diagnose what the bug is - and the solution!! Tks

Just happened to me today and I can find no Action or Restore button.I'm using Chrome. Going to check Edge and Firefox, because others say they have found their contacts in another Browser. Has anybody solved this problem, because you all look like this happened to you a month ago. Please advise if you can. Thanks!

I, too, have lost all my contacts as to today 9/4/20. I use Firefox and am a Mac user. All the "fixes" I've located say to click on the "Action" button in the Contacts menu to restore a backup, but I can't find one. In an attempt to re-input addresses, I get an error message stating "Unable to create contact." I'm ticked off!

Same here. Disappeared on Firefox some time today. I had my contacts this morning. I'm using Yahoo Mail Pro. UPDATE: It turns out it was the AdBlockPlus extension on Firefox causing the problem. I disabled it and installed AdBlockerUltimate instead, and contacts are back and working fine.

Also lost all Yahoo contacts using Chrome. But surprise they are there on Edge!
I can't send emails but I can receive and reply.
The contact list is gone and I can not add any to rebuild the contat list.

LOST all contacts as of 04/09/20. Never was a fan of YAHOO and definitely not now. DONE.

WTF.... Contacts gone on 9/4/2020...were there yesterday. I use Win10 w/ Firefox browser, switched to MS Edge and my contacts were there, thank goodness!! Exported them to a .csv file so I now have a backup...Yahoo, what is going on????

No answer, same problem. Still there in the Android app tho, but for how long?
...I signed in on Chrome and my contacts were there. Not in my main browser which is Opera. Dont know what has happened at Yahoo...
