Are you supposed to tip the Walmart delivery person?

After the $98.00 yearly fee.

That depends on whether delivery charges were included and what the overall cost was.  If they hiked the prices up for delivery, I'd be less inclined to tip.  If the prices were identical to what you would pay in the store, or not too much more, then you can tip and probably feel good about that.  What I disagree with is Instacart advertising that delivery is included because of the "slightly" higher prices only to find that their idea of slight was 30 percent more and then slapped with a huge delivery charge, when it was supposed to be included.  Will never order from them again.

I have never paid for shipping from walmart and didn't pay anything extra for in-person curbside pickup. All tips are optional. The kids working there knew that when they signed up.

    No.

My experience is they are FedEx drivers.

I am lucky if they get the package near the porch on the driveway.

    Must just dump it.

Wal*Mart food packs too many cans into a box. A box that is barely sealed with shipping tap. Must Boxes are ready to burst when handled. I don't blame FedEx for the awkward weight.

The "Free" pickup is clumsy, and prone to Rude Supervisors, It is at the opposite Entry from where Wal*Mart built their Pick-up kiosk.  Complicated by I DO NOT have a mobile phone.

The Delivery is no shipping and "drops" the packages at my "door".
