Where do arteries in legs sit ? ?

Do the veins and major arteries in our legs sit below or on top of fat? I see many people of all sizes who have very obvious veins or arteries all over their legs . So where exactly does everything sit ? I would’ve thought they sat against our muscles underneath all our fat ....

I would’ve thought the more fat someone has the deeper the veins and arteries would be .

Arteries are deep in the body, and the pulsating parts are palpable (our pulses) because they beat. Veins are slightly more superficial, but many are still quite deep.

Arteries tend to be deep in the body, veins closer to the surface but not many are very visible. If you are seeing very obvious veins, the people might have varicose veins.
