I was at a McDonald’s parking lot , someone was literally backing up like 10 feet and I have no horn and they almost hit me . They didn’t hit me because I was quick and put my car in reverse. 

I have a old ugly rusted 2003 mistubishi lancer. People were joking saying I should have let them hit me so I can get paid ... lol ! Is that actually true? They weren’t even going fast enough to cause me bodily harm 

When it comes to your sources of income... do landlords basically just ask you what your job is, how much you make, and then verify it with paystubs you provide? 

Or is it deeper than that? Do they check your income with the IRS? 

My dilemma: I have a second source of income that I do NOT want my significant other to know about. (And I’ve never rented an apartment before so I’m clueless to the process) 

I’m scared that I’ll be sitting in a room with the room with the landlord/ apartment manager & they’ll ask me “it says here you get income from ____ also” . 

I don’t want anybody knowing about my 2nd job except for me and the irs. Is it possible that it’ll get exposed during the apartment rental process ?

I’m very confused. 

On google it says that anemic people don’t feel better for another 2 weeks after they begin taking iron supplements because that’s about how long it takes for enough red blood cells to be created again until you begin to feel normal once again.

But then I go on Twitter and I see SOME people saying supplements don’t work for them, eating food absorbs in their stomach faster , & they have to eat all their iron from food.

So here’s my question. If you choose to go the route of food, does it take 2 weeks as well? 

Anyone on here anemic? What was your anemia symptoms and recovery experience like? 

So I recall reading that fat transfers to the buttocks is possibly the most dangerous domestic procedure and there’s a high risk of fat getting into an artery and traveling up to your lungs? Something along those lines. 

My question is exactly WHERE are these vessels and arteries ? Do they lie under the muscles? Right under the skin? Why is this happening to people? I can’t tell by looking at anatomy pics. 

Is the procedure safer for people who already have a decent amount of fat on their butt (aka more surface area) ?

Do the veins and major arteries in our legs sit below or on top of fat? I see many people of all sizes who have very obvious veins or arteries all over their legs . So where exactly does everything sit ? I would’ve thought they sat against our muscles underneath all our fat .... 

I would’ve thought the more fat someone has the deeper the veins and arteries would be . 

Hi ! I’ve seen many instances of craigslist buyers giving sellers fake bills. And I’ve heard if a fake bill is any good it’ll even pass a pen check.

I saw the news give tips saying to always meet in public place , bring a friend, only accept cash blah blah blah.

Hold on ALWAYS ACCEPT CASH? I’m confused am I missing something ? Or is Venmo or such not an option. Is there a downside to accepting venmo or PayPal or cash app or something ?? I feel like that would avoid the whole fake money thing . If I’m wrong please let me know thank you!!

Hi! I’m new to lifting weights. It is Friday morning & I lifted weights Tuesday morning. I’m still a little sore . I read that it’s normal for DOMS to last 3-5 days especially for newbies. But when can I really hit those same muscles again ?? 

Can you hit the same muscles again before DOMS is over ? I understand not lifting weights again when the soreness is really bad, but what about when it’s day 3 and soreness is there but MINIMAL? Safe to hit weights again, or wait until soreness completely gone to zero?

What are the rules where you live about permits and free food ? 

I live in Los Angeles California & it is illegal to *SELL* food without a permit.... but I was wondering what about *giving out FREE food* ? Is a permit still required? 

 I could not find an answer for this. Every google search kept giving me results for permits regarding sales.

An answer specifically for Los Angeles County would be optimal, but sharing what your rules are for your region in the USA as examples are still appreciated as well!

Hi . I love in California & it’s getting hot . My family put me in a room detached from the house . It’s very hot back here but they won’t let me put a small AC because it uses “too much energy and will cause a blackout”

Yet my grandpa has used a plug in portable heater back here during the winter months that uses 120V. From what I understand you can find small ACs that use the same voltage or even 115. 

I brought this up & my grandpa said an AC w the same voltage will still use more energy. So essentially a 120V heater still uses less energy than a 120V small AC? 

I do not know much about this & he does not explain things well at all?

Is he correct or wrong? Can someone explain to me please

I have my significant other in Phoenix Arizona. I’m in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles in California. I was wondering if there’s any state-to-state , travel restrictions right now. I couldn’t find any clear answers on google search. 

Would they let him cross the state border if it’s not essential ? Or would they basically tell him to turn around and go back to Phoenix ?

What is the norm when it comes to the growth of untreated cancerous tumors ? (Untreated:no medication,surgery or chemo)

Without intervention what usually goes on with cancerous tumors ? 

Do they usually keep growing as long as you have the cancer ? 

Or

Do they usually grow until they get to a certain size and stop? 

I was wondering if someone could have a tumor in their abdomen region for YEARS and not feel it because their tumor doesn’t get big enough? Or no? After years do tumors usually become large ?

Hi guys I can't afford to buy my own phone right now so my dad is going to give me his old paid-off iPhone. I believe he has Verizon. 

Does HE- the original owner of the phone, have to be the one to go into Verizon to get it unlocked? Or can I take it myself without an issue? 

As long as the phone is paid off and isn't reported stolen there shouldn't be a problem right? 

How would I say "oh good!" In Spanish. 

Context example: like if I asked a taco truck if they were still in service until midnight and they say yes they are - type of thing. 

So how would I say "oh good! / ok great!" Etc.

I'm thinking "que bien!" but I'm really not sure.

I know theres a substance called Narcan...you can reverse an opiod (heroin, oxycodone etc) with it if you inject the overdoser.....

Do you know of any medications that could do something similiar for someone who is overdosing on benzos(xans etc) or stimulants (meth,mdma,speed etc) or alcohol ......

Hi im interested in cbd oil because of its supposed powerful anti inflammatory properties.So i ordered cbd oil. And i tried it and i was disappointed because it didnt do much for me then i realized the label said it was Hemp derived. ???

Is there that much of a difference between hemp and more pure cannabis oils? Is the difference signifcant or not? Has anyone else failed with hemp and then succeded with pure cannabis? Thank you

My uncles very expensive car was stolen and crashed and abandoned... California Highway Patrol doesnt believe the story and theyre trying to say my uncle is lying and that he supposedly has injuries (marks etc).which is total BS!!! Please help me. My uncle is innocent i dont want to see him go yo jail for attempting insurance fraud or hit and run.

I was thinking if we sent him to the doctors is there some way in hell a doctor could prove there was no way he was in an accident recently? Ruling out trauma and confirming he has no cuts or even bruises. I dont know what to do help please.
