Hard drive recommendation?
What hard drive do you recommend? I would like one that is reliable and fast (1TB and USB 3 preferably) because I want to get one to backup important files.
I am deciding between WD, Seagate and Toshiba.

for portable USB powered windows drives I use
WD My Passport Portable Hard Drive
comes with some simple backup software for local PC and are reliable

all hard drives are different, even from the same brands.
if you want to compare speeds, check their specs online vefore buying.
for externals, i am partial to Seagate, but you need to check speeds, as they are not all equally fast.
