    Height is 6m

    Base is 10m

    We can solve it as follows:

    Let h be the height.

    Let h+4 be the base

    Area = ½bh

    30 = ½(h+4)h

    60 = h² + 4h

    h² + 4h - 60 = 0

    (h + 10)(h - 6) = 0

    h = -10 or h = 6

    Clearly we can't have a negative height so the height is 6m and the base is 10m.
