all youtube videos are downloaded to your cache and played from there so they are already on your computer

Bill-M's remarks are completely false. Copyright owners do not surrender their rights by posting on YouTube. YouTube itself acquires a nonexclusive license for content uploaded to the site, which is revoked after the content is deleted.
Furthermore, Yahoo's Terms of Service do not allow downloading content. The very first term under Permissions and Restrictions states in part:
"You are not allowed to ... download ... any Content except ... as expressly authorized by the Service; or with ... permission from YouTube and ... rights holders."
