but i would reccomend Alien Isolation, Soma, or Outlast they are not multiplayer.....for that i would recc dying light

It’s not specifically horror, but Rust is a good co-op survival game. Fade to Silence is a co-op survival horror’ish game, but has a few bugs that were never fixed, such as deer falling into the ground. Co-op in Fade to Silence isn’t available right from the start though. You first need to get one follower which isn’t hard to do and takes less than 10 minutes into a new game if you go out explore.
