My water tank is not working in a good way. It's supplying water in a wrong direction. Is it because not using good check valve?

    I think it's because of the check valve.

    Water flows from high pressure to low pressure.   The only way it can flow backwards is your inlet pressure had dropped below your tank pressure.   I suggest you check your pump.
