What are good plants for indoors?

I want to get some plants to liven up my room but I'm not sure which ones do so well inside with minimal sunlight.  You guys have any recommendations?

Get a standard ivy.  Varigated pothos.  A pretty pot really makes it nice.  It is like having a pet.

Snake plants aka cast iron plants look ok and need minimum light.

Spider plant. My mother gave me one in the 70s and it is still alive.

Pothos, Sansiveria (snake plant, mother-in-law's tongue), and many more - there are online sources that can also help you with watering and lighting.
