Do COVID19 cases impact American elections?

COVID 19 may influence the voters' swing - from One Party to the other.

How it may impact the results?

Will the mutual swings offset each other and thereby neutralize

or

will the swing be a significant one?

I don't think covid will make much of an impact on the presidential election. People blaming Trump most likely weren't going to vote for him anyway.

I think there could have been some voter backlash against governors up for reelection, but of the seven running, only two or three are not sure wins for the incumbent.

I think the riots and behaviors of politicians might be having a bigger impact on swing voters than covid. However, I do think more people are motivated to vote this year because of covid.

It will definitely play a role. Many of tRump's supporters continue to think Covid doesn't exist.

Not any more than the common cold does.

Hysteria from the lying press might, of course, convince a few idiots that Trump should be blamed for deaths of the elderly by natural causes. But not enough to change the election result.
