Which is better, trend micro or Kapersky?

In my opinion, you should go for Kaspersky because the internet security level is very better at Kaspersky and the repair rate is also good so, I will prefer you should go for Kaspersky.

Get you some Trend Micro, its great. That other one is Russian.

Assuming that you are running a home PC with Windows 10 on it, you do not need either.  Win 10 includes an anti-virus called Windows Defender.  It work well for home computers.  It is part of Windows itself so it does not slow down your computer like trend Micro or Kapersky do.  Both those programs are designed for business settings where you have multiple servers, firewalls, segmented networks and other issues to deal with.  They include a lot of bloated options you will never need on a home computer.  As such, they impact performance and make your computer slower.  Windows Defender is designed specifically for home computer.  But it would not function in a large business environment.  That is why the other programs exist.

You do not need a third party security program is you are running Windows 10.   Waste of money to buy one.

both work fine. i'm partial to Kaspersky, but you may like the other. try them both (install only one at a time) and see.

The free version of Kaspersky does a really good job. So do the free versions of Bitdefender and Avira. There are other good free options like Avast,AVG,360 Total Security and Panda Dome.
