Why doesn't America, accept the vaccine from Russia?

Too many people are getting infected, in the country. Every body is talking about the possibility of maybe next year we will have the vaccine for the coronavirus, but what about now, today? Next year is too long .  It's about time the politicians stop playing politics with people life.

    We want a vaccine that has been properly tested and approved by the FDA. We don’t want some untested experimental vaccine that might not be safe and effective.
