There should be no preferential treatment for women. Women should be treated like men.

Given all the complaints, we should stop discriminating in athletics based in sex. Try out for a team and compete without regard to sex. That would be equal.

Simple answer: If the woman can perform the job, she shouldn't be eliminated solely because of her gender.

The sheer fact of the matter is that males are genetically stronger and more intrinsically muscular than women. The change occurs at puberty.
This is why it is not reasonable for M to F trans persons to compete against actual women.
However, the distinction between males and females in sports is to protect the women who could not compete elite to elite against men.
