Does Abraham prove to be God’s answer to the events at Babel?

So a person that was unlikely to have existed, not that we'll ever know, is God's answer to an event that clearly did not happen and is completely unsupported by any evidence.  Sounds like God has answers for problems that don't exist. (By the way, even if we look at the stories "metaphorically" or "allegorically", they still do not work)

Abraham, like all gods, never existed.
