Spilt water on my iPad no symptoms of water damage yet am I good?

So a bottle of water spilt on my iPad Pro a little bit and so far it has been an hour and there are no symptoms of water damage should I be ok?

    turn upside down and pack in rice for a day [dried 'minute rice' works fine]

    Turn it off and let it dry thoroughly.

    My crystal ball shows that your iPad will have a short and bleak future.  If not from this water spill, then something else will kill it.
