Will this adequately kill clothes moths?

I made a mix of water, vinegar, baking soda, and Mr. Clean disinfectant, I want to say it's about 0.8 of a larger Folgers coffee container in amount. Out of the ingredients, it's around 46 percent vinegar. I'm planning to dump it in my closet.

    NO NO NO.

There are three things you can use to kill clothes moths:

    (1) Moth balls. These are toxic, and smelly, but extremely effective and cheap.

    (3) CEDAR CHIPS.  That's what cedar chests do--they repel and kill off any moths. You can buy them in bulk at most hardware stores. (4) LAVENDER. Smells great, but expensive and doesn't last long. The cedar is better. Vinegar should not be mixed with Mr. Clean, and no liquids should be poured into the closet flooring--it will ruin the floor and that's not where the moths lay eggs anyway. It won't be the slightest bit effective AND it will stink. ALSO--wash all your clothes and put them into airtight bags. You can put the cedar chips into the bags before sealing them. That will be the most effective and safest thing you can possibly do for moths.

As moths are insects any insecticide based on synthetic pyrethrum will kill them. So the occasional spray into wardrobes will be sufficient. BTW it's not moths that eat clothes it's their larvae. Moth balls will make you smell like an old lady and are also highly poisonous.

This will not only not kill the moths, it will ruin the flooring in your closet. Much better to use moth balls.

Just remember that some people, including me, will never even have heard of Folger's Coffee.

Why bother to make a dangerous but probably useless mixture when it is so easy and cheap to buy mothballs?

No.  And your clothes will smell awful for months.

Have you heard of MOTH BALLS?

Buy them and use them according to the directions on the box.

They are also cheaper than what you want to do.
