Has the trench coat ever worked?
Does anyone know of any times in history or from personal experience if the “kids stacked on each others shoulders wearing a trench coat” thing has ever worked? And if not, can you think of any way to make it more convincing?

That stunt was used a couple times in "Little Rascal" short films, "Laurel and Hardy" and, I think Harpo Marx (and Chico,Groucho?) .......it was a gag for laughs - meant to be funny, not convincing.
