How to talk to other Waze users?

Is it possible? When using the app, other users pop up, and grayed out options to message or beep.

    If you see Wazer instead of a real name, you can not chat or beep them.

    If you have not verified a number with your waze account, you can not add friends. I have been about to send "friends" a short text. But like most people, I'm too busy driving to read or text strangers, while behind the wheel.

    I block contact from other users myself. I also hide them on my screen...could care less about them.
