Which is the better way to the phrase "two cents"?

It's always "my two cents" (or whoever's) rather than just "two cents."
I think "putting in" is most often used. "Adding" and "sticking in" are used sometimes, "giving" not much. "Putting" is not used without "in."

I generally talk about "My two-cents worth" to mean that what I am offering is not really of much value but it is still valuable enough to offer for consideration.
I was just offering my two-cents worth; I just want to add my two-cents worth here. I was just putting in my two-cents worth, and nothing more (I wasn't trying to hijack the conversation). You can probably say "someone giving their two-cents worth". The third example of yours is the only one which is definitely not "correct".
