feng shui and townhome designs?
I looked at a 3 floor townhome that I loved. When I came in I always turn to the left. Left at the top of the stairs to the kitchen, courter looks left to where the TV would be in the living room and left up the stairs, again left to the bedroom.
The other available one is the complete opposite. Everthing is to the right. It just feels wrong for some reason (I can't see this one in person as it is not built yet and I have to make a decision), but I wonder if this is because I haven't been in it or I am so stuck on the first one.
What are your thoughts? Is there any Feng Shui to this?
Love the answer guys, but I should have made it clear that I am unable to walk through the one to the right. I have to buy now and I only walked through the one to the left. I loved it but the one to the right will have the couch facing a bit better of a view. But again, haven't walked through that one.

There could be. Perhaps when you walk into the first one, having everything on the left may give you the feeling of more space. Or there could have been lots of natural light coming in. The one facing right may not have that same appeal. It does make perfect sense and sometimes you know just by walking into the space.

I would make my decision on which gets the best light in the day rooms or has the best outlook. Gut instinct is important, but as for which way you turn, that sounds more like muscle memory. My experience of property deals tells me that if you like it you should buy it: while you are dithering about somebody else will take them if they are worth having.

Fruitcake rather than feng shui.
To me, left turns feel "easier" when I'm carrying something (which tends to be on my RHS).
