Mine have raw carrots to chew on everyday. They were slow to get into it but now they love them.

Yes, they're all right. My dog eats them along with potatoes but his favorite are banana chips.

Yes, it's absolutely fine to feed a dog with carrots. This is why some brands of dog food actually have carrots in them, like Butcher's, Winalot and Lily's Kitchen.
Due to their high fiber content, they're ideal in particular as alternatives to dog chews for dogs who are overweight, or who are a breed that tends to gain weight easily, plus it can also help to prevent constipation. They're a good source of vitamin A which is beneficial for the dog's vision, and also Beta-carotene which fights cancer (especially important for dogs who are prone to cancer as a breed).
However, a dog's diet should be at least 90% a good quality dog food. Any extras which they have - including if they're fed with carrots - should make up no more than 10% of their daily diet.
Hope this helps.

Raw carrots are alright as a treat and make a great chew toy for a teething pup or a chewing dog
