Is it safe now to order products from China?
So I am wanting to buy this item, and it is being shipped from China. However, I am very skeptical on the whole thing with the pandemic still hurting here in the USA. Is it safe to order from China and not catch any sign of the Virus?

The world trade is going on, Custom Officials do the best to control VIVUS. You'd better consult local government to make sure if it is safe to buy things from China.

China has less community transmission of the virus than the US. You're more likely to get it from your mailman (or anyone not wearing a mask).

It is safer than if you buy something made in the USA, such as raw meat because the transmission rate is much lower in China than in the USA.

It's safe regarding the virus. Be aware that there are various fake brand name goods coming from China.

Unfortunately most of the things we buy come from China. Open your package outdoors, throwing packing material and box in garbage, and put item(s) in a bin to bring inside, Don’t handle for several days before putting away or using. Wash hands thoroughly after opening and putting items in bin. Any virus on items should have died by then. This may be over the top but no one knows exactly how long the virus can live on inanimate objects. This goes for ANY package you get no matter the origin.

Yeah you're good. China's doing better with the virus than the US right now and buying online will minimize the number of people you directly deal with. So it's probably safer than buying in-person right now. Maybe disinfect whatever it is you order and don't touch your face while opening, but you should do that for every package, regardless of where from.
