Mac mini for gaming?
So I know this may not be the ideal computer to game on but I only play the Sims 4. I currently have a MacBook Air 2017 model and I primarily use it for college and it serves me well. I also have the Sims 4 installed on it and because the game uses a lot of graphics I guess it runs hot and sometimes overheats. I need a desktop anyway and im an apple geek on a budget. What do you think?

I would consider looking at a used/refurbished iMac. One that's a couple of years old should do fine for you; if you get a Mac Mini you will also need to get a monitor.

mac-mini is only designed for simple commerce … nothing graphic intensive.

The Mac mini is essentially a MacBook without a screen. It's just as likely to overheat.
