Do you agree or disagree with the following statement.....?

"Biden may win most of the big cities resulting in winning the popular vote but Trump will win most of the small cities which there are a lot more smaller cities and it will result in more points in the electoral college."

Trump will lose for 2 reasons: (1) he's lost a lot of suburban women; (2) millennials are turning out in YUGE numbers and they despise Trump.

Voting isn't by city, but states with their population away from big cities tend to vote Republican.

    Trump gets:

White old non-Hispanic Males undereducated rural

    Biden gets

non-white young Hispanic females with college degree urban

but, not all of each characteristic. This set is typical.

    Total white about 50-50

Even without a college education, Biden gets voters.

    Many men vote Biden also.

    Suburban split.

This was the Trump vs Clinton map, and appears very Trump, but remember Clinton got more votes

    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/upshot/el...

You can look at Texas, see the four major city blue plus the Mexico border and every other city zoomed in, like the little blue dot of Amarillo.

    There are many weightings.

Electoral college is number in congress and a few more.

Almost all US States do an all or none.

And, in this election, Biden got the bulk of mail-in voting and early voting and Trump gets more in-person.

The winner is NOT decided on November 3rd or 4th unless Biden has a big sweep. Trump may look ahead or winning on election day.

    Early In-Person Votes: 35,467,903

    Mail Ballots Returned: 62,197,467

Expected on Election day another 60 to 70 million votes

Mail-in ballots take time to process and vary by state when that starts.

It should go Biden early lead, Trump surges during the day, Biden wins before mid-November, as Trump fights in courts to invalidate voting.

No, I think Biden wins in a landslide, both popular vote AND electoral college.

    Sort of.

Biden will win the popular vote, and Trump will win the Electoral vote.

And that will happen because Biden will achieve huge victories in states like CA and NY.  But beating Trump by 30% or 40% in those states only pads his popular vote total and does nothing to gain more Electoral votes.

Seriously, if I could stuff the California ballot boxes with 4 million extra Trump votes, Trump would still lose in CA.

Incorrect. Electoral college votes are allocated state by state, not city by city.

Republicans have been point gaming using the electoral college ever since it was founded. That's old news.

Yes I think the electoral college helps republicans, but only to a certain extent.
