when skydiving, does it get louder the closer you get to the ground in freefall?

assuming there is minimal background noise, so idealy skydiving in the middle of NOWHERE jumping from hot air balloon

Update:

@Roger K... if you had read the details, i listed an ideal scenario that has minimal background noise. obviously if you were to skydive into the superbowl the noise of a plane will recede and the noise of a busy city would increase, and the air itsself rushing past your head at terminal velocity stays constant in noise level. also, subtract the noise of your clothes.. can a skydiver ""hear the ground getting closer"" like a doppler effect?

No it doesn't get louder if you're in the middle of nowhere.

You need to tell us what "it" is that you are wondering about?

    - noise from the air rushing past your ears?

    - noise from activities on the ground?

    - what you you mean?
