It took some time to find its footing, but was watchable and even entertaining by the end of the season.  Unfortunately the decision to replace Kate Kane instead of recasting her means that all of the set-up from the first season is a total loss, and the most compelling parts of the show have been lost.

I watched the first two episodes.  As a fan of other Arrowverse shows I was predisposed to give it the benefit of the doubt.

It was terrible.  The lead actress, Ruby Rose, was awful, and the character was even worse.  The nonstop PC virtue-signalling was a constant distraction.  Note that I am not saying that I objected to her being gay.

The plot made very little sense - simulatneously claiming that Gotham was some kind of hellscape without Batman, yet actually showing that everything was pretty okay.  The woman playing the sister/villain had a little bit of charisma, but not much.  And she was the only actor in the show with any charisma.

I think they would have been better off going with Batgirl/Barbara Gordon who is better known and would have a stronger automatic attachment from the audience.  They Also should have hired better actors and writers.  The other arrowverse shows all have writing problems too, don't get me wrong, but they also tend to have surprisingly good actors in them to compensate.  This one did not.

I should also mention that the fight choreography (kind of important for a street vigilante) was dreadful.

Dreadful. It's the worst bat (anything) ever.
