Is it being "tribal" or "tribalistic"? Which is a better sentence?
1. We also go after atheists and call them out when they say something stupid. We are not tribal at all.

You seem to believe presenting your "opinion" based in your ignorance of humanity is calling someone out not displaying one's own ignorance.

Humans are tribal. Trust me, you are tribal.
See what you are, not how you'd like to be.

Why go after anyone? Far better to present a positive message.
If you must do it, ‘tribalistic’ is minimally better. In a sense the Church IS tribal. We are family with the same Father

Neither makes any sense at all.
What does 'go after' atheists mean?
How do you 'call them out'?
What has being 'tribal' got to do with your attitude?
All atheists say is that they do not believe that God exists. That's not stupid, as there is no evidence at all that God does exist.

Your behavior is tribalistic,
regardless of how you lie and deny it.
You are also mistaken
in assuming that atheists are a tribe,
when they are simply everyone
who is not in any
of the many theistic tribes.
Tribal, describes people's attitudes.
Tribalistic describes tribal people's actions
that reflect their tribal attitudes.
