Are turkey trots going to be cancelled this year?

If the liberal Democrats have anything to do with it, yes.

They have been where I live.

Considering users here post from around the world, you'd need to be more specific in your location. We have no way of knowing if they will be cancelled where YOU live. Many races are going virtual, but some live races are still occurring. Where I live there is a live 5K on Thanksgiving morning as well as another organization promoting a virtual 10K. I'm also running a live 5K this coming Saturday. There are also multiple live holiday runs scheduled through December.

Check with the organizations that typically handle races/runs in your area or the area where you want to participate in a run, to see if they are holding their event either live or virtual (or both) this year. 

The one in my general area is going to be virtual.
