Fear of being alone in life?
Because I don't have a big family I fear that I won't have people in my life down the road. Is this normal? It makes me sad.

You don’t need a family to be happy and fulfilled in life. I don’t have a family. I blocked them out a long time ago. Being alone is the greatest fear to human existence (besides death) simply because it is a fear in itself to waste your life. Make something of your life. Find your family, in the people closest to you in your life. Could even be your cat. Be your own family. Sounds cliché, but once you find that tranquility in yourself, you can conquer the world.

It can happen. It's happened to me. I come from a small family, and the siblings I have left have moved to different states. But don't worry about it too much, and make of your life what you want. Having children almost ensures you won't be alone later. You'll always have them in your life.

Buy a dog. German Shepherds are great company.
