Transfer data from Saved Data Utility to Internal PS2 Memory Card? (PS3)?

I finally remembered to create an internal PS2 Memory Card for my PS3, while cleaning up. However, my PS2 game files still remain inside the "Saved Data Utility (PS2)" Folder in my saved files. I've hit the options menu for each of the data, and all it says is I can either move files to an outside source via a memory card adapter I don't have, or just up and delete it. It seems like this would be a fairly simple move, no? Can anybody out there tell me how I'm screwing up?

The internal PS2 memory card is for playing disc-based PS2 games which most PS3s cannot do anymore.

PS2 classics have their own saved data utility that's basically a huge memory card. They're not technically identical to the disc versions in that regard.
