Cuurently two of the members of AC/DC are English, one is Scottish and two are Australian. So in 2020 they are 2/5ths or 40% English.
They are 3/5ths or 60% British.
and 2/5ths or 40% Australian.
Current members.
Angus Young, Australian, born in Scotland.
Phil Rudd, Australian, born in Australia.
Cliff Williams, English, born in England.
Brian Johnston, English, born in England.
Steve Young, Scottish, born in Scotland.
Previous notable members.
Malcolm Young, Australian, born in Scotland.
Bon Scott, Australian, born in Scotland.
Mark Evans, Australian, born in Australia.
Simon Wright, English, born in England.
Chris Slade, Welsh, born in Wales.
That's 3/10ths or 30% English.
5/10ths or 50% British.
and 5/10ths or 50% Australian.
I consider AC/DC to be a British/ Australian band.
although they were English majority ( 3/5ths or 60% ) for 7 years for most of the 1980s ( 1983 to 1989) when Simon Wright was on drums and they recorded the albums Fly on the Wall ( 1985), Who Made Who ( 1986) and Blow Up Your Video ( 1988).
ps, I did not include Axl Rose ( US) as he never did a studio recording with the band, only doing a world tour the year singer Brian Johnston had throat problems.

Well that is fighting words, at least for the Scottish who consider them a Scottish band. Of course Australia considers then an Australian band as they started here. I am sure they consider themselves either depending on the marketing.

Seeing them live at Leichhardt police boys club (I guess I was lucky not to be molested going to places like that) in the early 70s, I don't believe any UK bands ever played at Leichhardt police boys club.
