I think when this is on the cover of 'Vogue' we've probably achieved relative parity on dressing as we like.

It means all of that and more. It also means that women should pay half of the dinner bill and if you’re married to them half of all the bills and if you divorce them half of the equity of everything, unless you have children together, then you are screwed!

Yes, I don't think dress codes should exist anymore, they're outdated. People should be allowed to look how they want and it's other people's problem if they're offended by that. (The only exception being safety equipment).

Or, at least, any standards about such things should apply equally to men and women.  For example, if you're working with food, your hair needs to be in a hairnet.  If you're in a public place, you are generally expected to cover your genitals.  And so on.

No.  Equality should mean that men and women both get equal legal Rights and Responsibilities. So for example, when common men get the Right to vote based on fulfilling the Selective Service military obligation, it means that common women should also equally get the Right to vote based on fulfilling the Selective Service military obligation.

You're question is projecting an equality that has nothing to do with Rights, but with feelings and thought control instead.  Men and women already can wear whatever they want within the confines of the law.  At the same time, anybody else is free to criticize or question or comment on other's clothing choices within the confines of legal harassment laws.  This is what we call a free society.

Asking the state to come in and tell us what we can or cannot think or say however leads to an unfree, totalitarian society, every time.  Pretty soon nobody can comment on anyone else's clothing.  But then the state also dictates what clothing  you can wear too.

    without question or comment?

People have the right to question or comment on whatever they wish to in this country. I see no reason to do so on how one dresses or expresses themselves. But that does not mean others feel the same the way.

"Without any question or comment"?   So we also lose our free speech rights?   Definitely not.
