Is it rational for a woman to divorce her husband for doing nothing more than vote for Trump?

As ugly as politics has made people lately this is really probably just the final straw that broke the camel's back. She wanted out anyway and this has given her an excuse that roughly half the nation would agree with. So she gets the divorce she's wanted for a long time and she gets to virtue signal all over social media.

I think not. Has she asked him for a divorce just due to a vote??? Or has he been a jerk?

I would at least seriously consider it if I found out that my husband did it.
Voting for a candidate means that you either approve of or are at least vaguely okay with the stuff that candidate does/endorses/says. To be okay with Donald Trump's stuff means being okay with a lot of horrifying, unethical stuff. I want to be with someone who has some moral integrity.

Absolutely. It says a lot about his character. And none of it good.

My guess would be that she found the values and beliefs Trump and/or the Republican party represents to be offensive or incompatible, or maybe she got tired of arguing with her husband about politics.
Depending on the circumstances, it would make sense to get a divorce, just as it would make sense to get a divorce if someone discovered that their spouse believed in open marriage and they didn't, or their spouse didn't want to have kids but they did, or their spouse was an atheist who hated religion but they wanted to go to church and raise religious children, or their spouse spent money like crazy and they wanted to live a simple, frugal life, etc. Sometimes there are "dealbreakers" and maybe, for her, this is one.
