Something big is going to happen I feel, but it wont take a year. Things are well underway already, and you will find that although the left wing press has called the result, this election has been compromised by malpractice. You can run around and spread false propaganda that it's all clean and nothing bad happened, but there are a lot of problems. This question I asked, https://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20...

is something that refers to direct violations of law regarding foreign influence in a US election.

Well you cant just say, oh well, don't worry about that, it means nothing. It means it happened illegally. A US president cannot be voted in illegally, it's against the law!

If you really believe that then you should contact a Las Vegas body you'll get some great rides because the odds of trump winning around most zero. The reason he's going to these great lengths to prove or at least try to prove fraud it is an act of revenge against the Democrats for the tough time they put him through when he got in. Also it energizes his base and keeps them energized for the next election in 2024 to get them to come out even in greater numbers. He would have to over several states to win and it would damage this country beyond words. He deep down inside knows that but no one except perhaps his family can tell him to

give up the fight and they haven't done so yet. Maybe he should pass the unemployment extra 600 before he leaves office he'll need he will soon be out of a job.

Trump said the election was rigged in 2016 but subsequent multiple investigations couldn't find it. No one can find widespread fraud that doesn't exist. Trump needs more than his claim. Remember when he said the virus was going to magically disappear a dozen times in 10 months? ... same thing. His legacy includes a long history of BS and lies. But, no one can stop your dreams and the opinion you're entitled to.

The thing about elections is that they end.  A country needs to be governed; so there has to be a time frame for counting the votes and resolving any claims that the election was flawed.

For presidential elections, there are two alternative deadlines.

The first deadline is six days before the date that the electoral college meets.  In 2020, the electors meet on December 14.  So by December 8 (six days before December 14), states must complete their counts and finish any court cases challenging the election.  The absolute nature of this deadline was the basis on the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Bush vs. Gore which cut off further scrutiny of the ballots in Florida.  It was simply irrelevant that closer examination of those ballots after December 8 showed that Al Gore might have been the actual winner.

The second deadline is January 6.  If something arises after December 8 that conclusively shows that the results on December 8 were wrong, then -- if both houses of Congress agree -- Congress can invalidate the electoral votes of a state.  However, the law creates a strong presumption that the electoral votes cast on December 14 are valid, and Congress has never invalidated the votes of a state.  And, if you were a student of history, you would know that both sides used to engage in a lot of election improprieties before modern reforms made it virtually impossible to rig an election.

Of course, most people don't work elections and don't know how difficult it is to rig an election or the proper procedures in an election.  That's why one of Trump's cases was all but laughed out of court when the Trump campaign claimed that people had observed improper conduct but what they were describing in their petition was actually election workers following the correct procedure.

I would wonder why it took the rest of you so long to figure out what many of us already know

Months after the 2000 election, a group of newspapers paid for a recount in Florida that showed that Gore really won  Of course nothing happened.  But in this case, Biden DID win.  It wasn't even close.
