Did the universe came from Nothing or Something?

Nothingness must come first then become something from the Intelligent designer of the universe.

how big a rock that made the universe , after all the universe is made up of rock ..big bang , more like a huge bang ..

If you have read it came from "nothing", then maybe you should put down the creationist books and start reading real science books.

Some energy, specifically gravitational potential energy, is negative, and it's quite likely that the total energy content of the Big Bang is zero.  That's not the same thing as saying it came from NOTHING.

Why is there SOMETHING rather than NOTHING?  Well, there is SOMETHING, that's a fact.  And IMHO, it is impossible for NOTHING to give rise to SOMETHING, so I figure that there was always SOMETHING.  And the idea of "God" doesn't help, because "God" is SOMETHING.

There is not another Earth around... You are special...  

We know that a short time after the begining, the visible universe was a very tiny volume that was expanding. That is the Big Bang theory. That is all we know. 

Can we assume that exactly at the beginning, the volume of the universe was zero (a singularity)? Nobody knows.Did that singularity pop out of nothing or was it always there? Nobody knows.Do space and time even make sense for distances less than 10^-33 cm and time shorter than 10^-43 seconds? Nobody knows.

The universe is a medium which we cannot understand because before the Big Bang there was no space. Now this is hard to grasp, but despite that, this medium must have some kind of property. Why? because what would otherwise have triggered the Big Bang? Space, time and matter formed due to unknown reason, and became a part of the Universe. I don't have any proof of this concept, but when I try to get my mind around it, this seems pretty plausible. The fact  that the universe and space are two separate entities. It is also possible that the 'universe', the place which had a certain property, but no space, suddenly transformed to turn INTO space. And this transformation is considered the Big Bang, but since it happened everywhere  there is no center to be found in space, where the Big Bang occurred. The transformation formed Dark Energy which is the driving force of space expanding. To answer your question, 'space' came out of nothing, the universe is endless and always present. Just like virtual particles that also form out of nothing and can even make black holes evaporate, which we know as Hawking Radiation.

With no witnesses, and no evidence that survived, and then the much later condensation into particles of matter, all there is to go on is theories.

Some theories have a tiny sliver of indications to support them, most have none.

Beyond that, all we can hope for is some information from outside our civilization that has proof or at least better ideas.
