Nope. Try it. Drive into a lake. It will stay there and now you got to call for a tow truck to yank you out.
. When others say "boat of a car" they mean it parks like the Queen Mary smashing its way into its spot and carries many passengers.
. It is not a sports car. Which "Can" fit into any little hole.
Also the car has quick take off. (Not needing a mile to get up to speed.) or use a tank of fuel to get there)
None of those "boats" float either.
. So it is the opposite of a compliment. The car is basically a JOKE.

It's not water-proof, but mostly water resistant. You can get the inside wet, but cannot directly spray with water, say from a hose.

No, the tub is not waterproof, but if you pull back the carpet, they have drain plugs in the floor. Not sure about modem ones, but I had a 1992 Wrangler Sport with 4.0 liter inline 6. It was a softtop, with factory A/C that was mounted under the dash. The interior ( except my aftermarket radio head unit) was waterproof. Even the sound bar was waterproof.

Despite the fact that these rigs are intended to be used in serious off-roading and during the harsh weather conditions, they suck at floating in the rivers. I'd recommend you to consider some other option for that kind of needs.

The soft tops look pretty loose but if you’re doing serious off roading with fording rivers, water will inevitably get in , so you might as well let it out easily.

If get them wet, they might shrink a lot.
Oops, I thought you meant Lee Wrangler jeans.

no. you'll suck water in the air intake and hydrolock the engine, possibly destroying it. also the connectors and fuse box would probably get damaged from water.

WIth a hardtop it's mostly wind whistles. With a soft top, wear your scuba gear.
