What is it like to lose someone at Christmas? How do you cope in the future? ?

It is sad and it makes a bad memory every Christmas to come. There were 1,129 Covid-19 deaths on Christmas Day this year. It is sad to have been the saddest Christmas since the year of Pearl Harbor. I think it was even sadder then that.

I luckily have never had this happen but even with family that is not here anymore it still makes me sad but I still have a wonderful family to celebrate with

🥴 Most of my elders died toward the last half of the year.

My mother just passed in August. Me and her were big on the holidays. 🥴 Especially, Thanksgiving and Christmas

Im coping fine so long as I stay busy. Otherwise, its finally starting to hit me she's not here.

However.... one of the last things she used to say was:

🥴 Keep it moving. Business as usual. #soldier

So... Ill honor her wishes. I kinda dont know how to break down. 🥴
