Why is life so hard?
The more I live the more I realise that no matter what you do, you end up feeling bad about it. It could be that I'm depressed, but even if I do sometimes feel good I come to a realisation that most things I do has no value

i used to feel like that about a year ago, things in m life then lead to me getting depressed and its getting worse, im on the problem of ive been given referals for support, but i cant seem to get the diagnosis for it.
what you need to do is find thos people, whether its 100, whether its 1, it doesnt matter, because all that matters is that you have those people around you that make you feel better as much as you can, and talk to them about it, people are there to support you, and you need to use that support, and dont leave it too late, as that is exactly what i did, i didnt recognise the signs till it was too late.

It all comes down to choices. You have to acknowledge bad choices when you make them and move on. Otherwise you will keep repeating them. We all feel this way at one time or another you are not alone, but choosing a better outlook on life and being grateful for what you have and that you are alive is a way to start feeling better about yourself. Bad things happen to good people all the time, remember most of what happens to you has happened to some one else also find better coping methods and life will seem less stressful if you don't try to force it from happening the way you expect it should. Some things just are, like if you are not rich you are not rich, if you think you are not as smart as everyone else challenge yourself, you may be surprised. Don't expect to be happy all of the time that just doesn't happen. expect a curve ball life is just like that. Take care of yourself.

Life is hard indeed, it is harder compared to 2019.Life is like that and accept it and don't carry the burden of thoughts with you..Do the duties you are supposed to do in your work place, home, in your community/society to the best of your abilities .Don't worry about the result, let it happen the way it happens as you don;t have any control over it.

Life is a series of ups, downs and arounds, your job is to take these challenges, with the knowledge of knowing that nothing lasts forever. And become someone that you are meant to be. (eharmony.com) (indeed.com), US. Army.

This is the definition of depression. It will never change if you remain in the same habits you are right now.
Look into doing:
Exercise (30min a day, 2 days rest a week)
NoFap
Eating better
Get a hobby or work on your hobby 1 hour a day
Meditate 10min per day
Do these for 30-90 days and I guarantee you, your life will change. Do not skip any days, since your mind will want to pull you back into your old ways

"Hard" is a relative term. As someone else said here- think about all of those poor people in third world world countries, living in mudholes, fighting over the last morsel of food. They ain't got no internet!
Imagine being in prison- deserved or not- and having to go to day to day- bored, hungry, and constantly in danger.
If you suddenly found yourself in any of those two scenarios you'd want your life back in a second, problems and all now, wouldn't you?

One thing I drummed into my kids when they were young, was that life goes in 'cycles'. When you hit a hard, painful patch, persevere. Breathe in breathe out. Tell yourself it will pass. And it does. We had a big name sporting identity in Australia who was attacked and criticised WORLDWIDE - even seen in media reports crying and apologising for his mistake. He had hit rock bottom and people were worried about his state of mind. Yet, he is now back on tv doing ads and lauded as a 'hero' after being mega successful again in his selected sport. THAT alone is a good example of never giving up. Just think, if he had given up, he would never have enjoyed the massive joy and happiness he is currently living. The joy really does does come back to you.

I know this feeling all too well. What sucks, is the positive things in life are golden and everything else seems to be like hell.
One thing I've looked into, is the fact a lot of old philosophies around the world teach that dealing and overcoming hardships is ultimately mental and/or everything being an illusion. Stoicism in particular is one I really like. It's ancient greco-roman philosophy, and it expresses the notion that there is only so much in this life you can control. Even if you became super disciplined and got in control of your life the best you ever could, there are external factors in this world that still sh*t all over you, like a family member instantly dying of natural causes, someone talking sh*t and gossiping about you in the workplace, your gf leaving you or cheating on you...etc. This is not meant to be a cop-out to avoid taking responsibility on your part, but an understanding that you can't control everything in the external world, you can control the internal world (your mind) and how you choose to respond/react.
It's easier said than done to go by this philosophy, but the benefits of this philosophy carry into your social life too. Ever got worked up over an issue with someone and made yourself out to be a fool caught up in your emotions? Yeah, I've been there too. I'm more calm and rational in those situations now, or stoic.
